BIO

I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the ADAPT SFI Centre for Digital Content Technology, at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Behaviour Change, University College London, United Kingdom.  I obtained my PhD (Health Psychology) from Leiden University in 2015. I am chartered clinical and health psychologist.

Post PhD, I secured funding for my own post-doc fellowship, during which I collaborated in a H2020 project looking at theory based digital tools for weight loss maintenance (NoHoW project), co-leading the development of digital content. Later, I joined the Human Behaviour Change Project (Wellcome Trust Funding) at the world leading Centre for Behaviour Change (University College London), as part of the behavioural science team developing an Ontology of Behaviour Change Interventions. I remain a collaborator in this project, supporting the development of the ontologies and its applications to complex interventions.

In 2018, I was awarded a prestigious Marie Curie fellowship (EDGE program) to develop and apply innovative methods for

personalising the user experience when engaging with digital systems.

My achievements have recently been recognised by two very prestigious international early career awards from

the European Health Psychology Society and International Society of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity, as well as by invitations to join important expert commissions, such as the leading team responsible for developing the WHO global digital program for physical activity (B@Healthy B@Mobile).
